FAQs
Do you take insurance?
I do accept select insurances. My practice is set up to accept 30% insurance-based clients as well as self pay. I accept Aetna, Oscar (Optum), Oxford (Optum), Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Colorado, and United Healthcare. I can happily provide you with a monthly statement (“Superbill”) to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if I am outside of your network.

Do you offer sliding scale?
Yes. I reserve a portion of my practice for sliding scale clients to help make therapy more accessible. Feel free to contact me to see what’s available.

Are you accepting new clients?
I currently have openings for individual psychotherapy via Telehealth for those based in CA and CO. For those seeking Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) I will be offering sessions in 2026 at my new office location in CO and for select Telehealth clients using psycholytic (low dose) ketamine.

How often are sessions? How quickly can I see results? How long should I attend?
Your experience in therapy is uniquely yours. You may come in for support achieving certain life goals, or you might come in looking for deeper, ongoing work to treat primary wounds that create anxiety, depression or trauma.
With all new clients, I always prefer weekly sessions. Any less frequently and its hard to build the necessary momentum for sustained change. Of course, we can create a customized plan to support your schedule if necessary. My services are offered Monday through Friday online for residents in California and Colorado.

What is your cancellation policy?
I kindly require 24 hour notice or there will be a $100 charge.

Do you offer psychedelic therapy?
I do offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), however I am not taking on new KAP clients until spring of 2026. I also work with folks preparing for or integrating their psychedelic experiences virtually. Please contact me for more info.
